Safer North Hampshire

Community safety teams in Basingstoke and Deane, Hart and Rushmoor, in Hampshire, have joined forces to better tackle crime and antisocial behaviour, under the heading “Safer North Hampshire.”

Safer North Hampshire seeks to pool resources, powers and expertise to provide a comprehensive response to community needs, whilst raising the understanding of community safety issues and improving the qualify of life for local people.

Safer North Hampshire has an antisocial behaviour team, who work with partnership agencies to reduce lower level offending behaviour, which can affect quality of life and fear of crime, and a projects team, who help run various crime reduction initiatives throughout the areas, as well as providing drug and alcohol education in local schools.
