Facilities available to use at Down Grange include:

• eight-lane athletics track and field events arena
• two artificial turf pitches catering for hockey and football
• 5v5 and 7v7 youth grass football pitches
• youth training boxes and full size rugby pitches
• one petanque terrain
• shooting range (situated in the Walled Garden)
• Maidenwell sports pavilion with changing rooms and hockey club house
• BMX jumps

Resident clubs at Down Grange

Free track use for the public

Individuals and groups of four people or less (who are not affiliated with a club or bootcamp) can use the athletics track free of charge when the track has not been booked by paying customers.

Clubs or any organised group with more than 4 individuals, have to book and pay for use of the track.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are club nights for Basingstoke and Mid Hants Athletic Club so should be avoided.

Way marked route

There is a 2km way marked route on site which provides walkers and runners with the chance to test their fitness or simply enjoy a gentle stroll.

The trail starts close to the Walled Garden car park where you will find a map of the route displayed.

Car parking

Free car parking is available at Down Grange off Pack Lane. The car park gates are locked between 10pm and 8am.
