Electric vehicle charging points

Charging points are available across the borough for use by residents and visitors.

  • Our chargers are managed by Park & Recharge
    • To use download the Park & Recharge app and set up an account.
    • If you previously used a MER fob with our charge points, you will now need to call 0808 186 1851 to have it linked to your Park & Recharge account.
  • Chargers fitted with a Payter payment unit can be used by swiping your credit or debit card.

Future charging points

Work is ongoing to install further vehicle chargers, we will update this page when they are ready for use. Please note chargers can be quick to install units but commissioning them for use does take more time.

To help improve our offering and make electric vehicle use more convenient, please take the time to complete our feedback form.

Provide your feedback about our EV chargers

For on-street chargers, we are working closely with Hampshire County Council to help shape its plans to increase the number of chargers.

Residents can request a charging point near to them by completing the on-street electric vehicle charger survey on Hampshire County Council’s (HCC) website.
