The council has also agreed to withdraw the area previously designated for a Neighbourhood Development Order in Penwood, as requested by the Parish Council.
North Waltham Neighbourhood Plan
The North Waltham Neighbourhood Plan Designation Area was approved on the 10 August 2015. North Waltham Parish Council will commence work on a neighbourhood plan in the near future.

Old Basing and Lychpit Neighbourhood Plan Review
Consultation on the Pre-Submission Old Basing and Lychpit Neighbourhood Plan is taking place from 26 January 2026 until 12 March 2026.

Overton Neighbourhood Plan
Examination
Janet Cheesley has been appointed to carry out an Independent Examination of the Overton Neighbourhood Plan. The examination commenced on 27 October 2025.

On the 21 November 2025, the Parish Council decided to withdraw the Submission Neighbourhood Plan.
